SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma grows its caregiver workforce by 20% with Homecare Pro’s integrated home care compliance platform
SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma, one of the most successful franchises in the SYNERGY network, is a non-medical agency serving private-pay clients at home, or wherever they call home, with companionship, memory, and disability care.

Challenge
SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma needed to minimize administrative overhead to continue growing. Management searched for a partner to streamline HR compliance tasks, automate credentialing work, and integrate with AxisCare in order to unlock further growth and improve client care.
Manual Work
SYNERGY Yuma’s growth was hindered by manual HR work that couldn’t keep up with an expanding caregiver workforce. Each new hire increased administrative demands, pulling managers away from recruitment and growth initiatives.
Fragmented Systems
Caregiver information, scattered across various platforms, required staff to manually track compliance, enter data, and navigate between tools. AxisCare, their EMR platform, was critical for operations but lacked integration with other systems.
Solution
SYNERGY Yuma selected Homecare Pro to reduce manual HR work in order to continue growing. Homecare Pro enables caregivers to onboard and keep compliant with minimal manager intervention.
Caregiver Self-Service
Homecare Pro tracks the status of each caregiver’s credentials, communicating directly with caregivers when updates or renewals are due, then enabling caregivers to update their credentials independently through the platform.
EMR Integration
Homecare Pro integrates Axiscare, SYNERGY Yuma’s enterprise platform. Caregivers onboarded through Homecare Pro are automatically created and ready to be scheduled in AxisCare. Homecare Pro continuously syncs the list of active caregivers tracked for compliance with those that are active in AxisCare.
Home Care Specific Automation
Homecare Pro automates Arizona-specific compliance requirements, such as the Arizona Adult Protective Services registry search and the Direct Care Worker testing. These home care-specific tasks are completed and monitored within Homecare Pro.
