Cypress HomeCare Solutions (Cypress) is a large, family-owned and operated agency that has provided private duty services to Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Maricopa County region for more than 30 years.

Challenge

After ending a four-and-a-half-year partnership with the Honor Care Network, Managing Partner Bob Roth was inspired by how technology could streamline home care processes. Recognizing that the world had changed and that innovation was necessary to rebuild Cypress’s caregiver team, Bob sought technology that would enable caregivers to quickly and effortlessly start working at Cypress. He pursued solutions to fully automate the hiring process—from vetting and interview scheduling to credentialing and onboarding. His goal: empower caregivers to self-serve through the hiring stages, eliminating the need for his team to monitor each caregiver’s progress and perform repetitive, redundant and manual tasks.

Homecare Pro and Hellohire provide an integrated solution that enables Bob’s vision.

Homecare Pro streamlines caregiver credentialing and onboarding, allowing caregivers to independently complete all onboarding tasks, thus relieving Cypress’ team of manual work. By integrating with AxisCare, each caregiver’s profile is automatically created and populated with necessary information.

Hellohire enhances caregiver vetting and interviewing. Caregivers are automatically pre-screened, and then schedule and complete their interviews with Cypress’s managers. AI-powered insights and comprehensive analytics offer additional insight into each caregiver’s qualifications, further optimizing the hiring process. Each interview is transcribed and summarized. Utilizing machine learning, the summarizes are specifically looking for keywords and experiences to hone in on and include them in the overall summary of a candidate.

Hellohire increases the percentage of caregivers progressing from application to interview, while Homecare Pro has facilitated a more successful onboarding. This streamlined process has enabled Cypress to rebuild its workforce efficiently, ensuring growth and continued excellence in care for its clients.
